Arjen Schampers is the co-managing director and a seasoned executive with over 22 years of international experience in the offshore wind industry. He came to Merkur after successful periods specializing in roles such as Managing Director, Project Director, and CEO.

At Merkur Offshore, he has led the company through all its major milestones to date, including the successful acquisition by private equity investors and the re-negotiation of its major contracts, as well as strategically managing the company during the wind farm construction itself. 

His expertise spans technical, financial, and organizational aspects, with focus on risk mitigation and value creation. Arjen is known for his direct, problem-solving approach and his ability to navigate complex challenges effectively.
